Based on the science of mindfulness and my direct knowledge of tech careers and culture, the programs are uniquely created to propel your team forward.

I bridge the arts and the sciences to offer qualitative and quantitative experiences that truly inspire with Masters degrees in Computer Science & Engineering and Counseling Psychology. I teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, lead retreats, train and mentor retreat leaders, and speak at organizations that are committed to wellbeing and excellence.

While working in Silicon Valley as a Software Engineer and IT project manager, I became intimate with stress, an unbalanced life and burnout.  Mindfulness and retreats transformed my life and for almost 15 years I have been utilizing this wisdom to provide effective solutions for my clients.

"Sharing wisdom with others is a joy. I believe that we are all teachers and all students and that storytelling unites us as human beings. I love that speaking allows me to inspire and transform people, and this is my true purpose in life. When I share my wisdom, it unlocks something within you that propels you forward in living your full potential...
with balance, harmony, and happiness."

Words from Amazing Clients...

"I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to be a participant and a contributor to two differently themed retreats organized by Melissa Sutor. I am very inspired by Melissa’s groundedness and her humility. Her ability to speak with clarity on everyday mindfulness sparks a brand new rhythm with a certain strong stability. I have been highly energized listening to her teachings through all the sessions on mindfulness for reducing negative stress and preventing burnout while increasing performance, creativity, life balance, and authenticity.

My experiences at her sessions have been so profound that I have brought it back with me to my personal life and work. My life revolves around my family of three and a huge network of friends. To be able to deliver even a piece of her honest and very powerful teachings is a gift for mankind and I feel very humbled and obliged to be able to absorb and hopefully deliver the same through my thoughts and actions.”

" Melissa came to us at a time when our organization was going through intense change and challenges. With a new CEO on-board, employees were feeling anxious and restless regarding what changes might be brewing. Her presentations to our employees were powerful, energizing and incredibly well-received.

She shared with us effective mindfulness tips on stress management, how to get more done in less time, helped us understand the science behind mindfulness and why it's so beneficial, and encouraged us to live with greater balance in our lives. We are grateful for the tools Melissa has shared with us and highly recommend her for any organization.”
-- Janelle Eaton-Escalante, Employee Relations Manager at San Mateo Credit Union
